Is there a "Bad Moon Rising"?
I have had a lot of calls this week asking me about the influence of the full moon and the eclipses that have occurred recently. I am not an astrologer but I do know that the myths that surround the full moon are some of the most enduring myths in popular culture. The word "lunacy" has its roots in the Latin word "Luna" for moon.
Most of us grew up believing that the full moon - which was evident in the night skies this weekend- drives people to madness, crime, suicide and major crisis.
There is a certain logic in the myths because earth is about 80 percent water like the human body so if the moons gravitational pull can and does affect ocean tides it might also affect a person's body.
Having worked in Psychiatric treatment wards, law enforcement and Correctional facilities in my career I can tell you that we had a lot of crime, trauma and drama in those facilities during the full moon phases and the week leading up to the phase also. If you would conduct a poll of workers in the hospital and law enforcement arena you would find out most have to add extra staff, have lockdowns etc on the full moon and totally believe in the myths.
We always had to have a "lockdown" situation in the correctional facilities especially in the juvenile wards.
Although many studies debunk the notion of the moon having any effect on us I really disagree.
All throughout this week I have noticed a lot of change in the attitude of clients and increased tensions building at home and even in the stores. Tempers are shorter and violence is being reported as increasing even before the full moon gets here.
I know that I definitely find it easier to contact the other side during the full moon phase and that includes the week before and after the full moon. I have more reported instances also of disturbances within people's homes and calls for help to rid the home of "visitors". Most of the time thankfully some of the activity can be attributed to normal causes within the family but some are definitely not.
Last night I received a call from a person that I have known for many years and her home was alive with activity last night and she had no idea where they all came from. After a lot of hours of banging and clanging in her home and no letup we were able to solve the problem. After tracking the sounds and smells we both realized and agreed that in her basement there was a portal that had opened.
It was unusual for there has never been any activity noticed in this house before this week. She has a large modern ranch type house with a full basement that recently had been remodeled. The only thing we could figure out was that somehow something was definitely disturbed during that time. After the both of us working to clear the area we managed to close the portal and she was able to finally go to bed at 1 am in the morning. This was very unique in the fact that she has lived in the house for years, is a very accomplished psychic in her own life but just could not register where the disturbances originated from. The disturbances started about 4 days ago and seemed to coincide with the advent of the new moon.
I have heard many myths about the moon and its adverse effect and I am a believer that tensions, emotions and even criminal activity escalates during a full moon phase.
I have often noticed an increase in unwanted "ghostly" activity or appearance of discarnate’s during those phases also. We live in an old farmhouse that has its own collection of other 'residents' and we are very used to their comings and goings on the stairs, in the hallways and in the library. We will find evidence of the "ladies" that reside with us when our kitchen cabinets are re-arranged, or bed covers taken off the spare beds.
We know they are upset with us whenever we have guests that sleep over in one of the bedrooms so we never let anyone sleep there anymore. During the full moon they are always restless and much more active.
I have asked them specifically to tell me the reason and it seems the electrical energy is higher and most discarnates find it much easier to manipulate matter in the real world during that time especially of course electrical energy.
A lot of my clients have complained of lights coming on unexpectantly and TVs coming on by themselves etc. It is usually a relative that is passed that is trying to get their attention when those instances occur I have found.
One of my clients kept noticing that during the night, around 3 in the morning, her bathroom light would mysteriously turn on and there was no one up at the time. She asked me to look and see if there were any entities in her house and I located her Mother. Her Mother had recently passed over to the other side and she was trying to let her daughter know that she was still around her. This incident happened this week prior to the full moon. Her Mother explained that she had been trying to leave her daughter a sign but was only able to accomplish it now. So perhaps it is true about the electrical energy being easier to manipulate during this phase.
That might explain why mystics in the past have used the full moon as a good time to conduct 'seances' and observe phenomena.
My residents tell me that it is easier for them to materialize also. So when the night wind howls and you feel the prickles on the back of your neck just give one of the "Ghostbusters" a call!!!!
Just joking with you all for I know a lot of people do not find humor in knowing that perhaps their houses come equipped with other spirits besides their own.
