This sounds so bad and I truly dont mean for it to be that way but..   his death has kinda overshadowed Ed McMahon and especially Farrah s passing.  Farrah was from here so they are going to be having a private ceremony at a local church.  Just like when Selena passed away her family wanted a private ceremony. Needless to say it wasnt as private as the family wanted and I think Farrahs will be the same way, unfortunately.

I am feeling overunindated with micheal J. info regarding his death. I am positive there is a lot more news out there. I just learned of a missing child in boise, ID that I was totally unaware of due to all the news on Micheal. I feel that was way more important as time is of the essence.

I am really saturated with the Gates controversy and Michael Jackson's life and death.  I am hoping we can and do move on but the news media being what it is I very seriously doubt they know what "real" news is all about anymore.  I find that the underground news agencies such as "unfiltered news" by G. Edward Griffin is more reliable and tends to have views I agree with.  Our news media is so right winged that I just have no respect for it at all.  There was a time I read the newspaper from first page to last but not anymore.  They are politically corrupt and motivated I believe and just a waste of time.

I took a class on media, graduate level and boy did it make me see the media differently. I don't know anyone at this point that is not jaded and offering their opinion rather then offering the truth and facts, thats it. Its the kind of class everyone needs to have a taste of, honestly. I really bought that reporters were being honest and unbiased, not thinking of the editors, stock holders excetra excetra. Its kind of like the alien files in government and it being a secret because for heavens sake, wouldn't want the public to see it.  Does anyone else feel like they are treated like a child? Good beans!

I think if a real reporter offered true facts and unbiased info, the public would stand behind them!  Most of the news, now, is entertainment news. Have you noticed that? I would bet 80% is of entertainment value. You rarely hear of heros and you often see that cotton candy type of fill in news. Its disgusting really.

I feel so badly whenever I hear about Micheal Jackson's affairs being so blatantly public!  I feel this really isn't my business! Like I am invading someone's privacy, when I hear someone mentioning the children's custody excetra. I wouldn't have wanted to live like that.  I have been turning off the tv.

I totally agree with you Foxie.  Our news media has become an embarrassment and I don't think there are any real "reporters" out there any longer.  They are used as pawns by the government and politicians and it is really disgusting to me.
