The Moon

The Moon

Resplendent in all of her glory

Smiling graciously as she lights up the darkness of our lives

You can feel her energy

You can feel her power

As her energy reaches out to touch, one tries to reach out and touch that which encompasses us

Oh great super moon

Your love gives us the opportunity to let go of all that is old

In the stillness of the night, oh great super moon

We feel your cleansing power

We feel ourselves being wrapped in her embrace, like a mother placing a warm

fluffy towel around a child after a bath

And as the dawn breaks, we then awake clean, refreshed and renewed in body, mind and spirit

This is the first day of spring; it is time to cultivate the garden of our lives with new seed

and positive intent

This is a new day, a new season

All of this with the help of the super moon

Appreciation

Appreciation

Appreciation ---To appreciate is to recognize and be grateful for everyone and everything that is in our lives.  How many of us take for granted the people in our life as well as the things in our life?  How many take ourselves for granted?

We are human beings enjoying the human experience. As humans, particularly this time of year we can appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.  The birds, flowers sunshine etc.

What of ourselves do we appreciate?  Do we appreciate the things that we ourselves have accomplished each day? Or do we complain that we did not do this or that?  What about the people around us, this could be our spouse or children even our pets do we appreciate them?  If so, do you turn around and validate that appreciation?  If not why not?

The one thing that we do not ever want to do is to take anyone or anything for granted.  By doing so we greatly limit this human experience.

First appreciate the abundance that the universe has been given to us then validate it.

Next validate what we ourselves do each day

Appreciate and validate those around us especially our spouses.  They do so much for us but we do not give recognition.

The human experience is a learning experience and everyone and everything is in our life to teach us.  So, Recognize it. Appreciate it, Validate it.

On this beautiful morning, take nothing for granted.  Enjoy the human experience

Namaste

How does one describe Peace

How does one Describe Peace

It is not easy to describe peace or to be at peace, but these are my observations.

It is being awakened at 3 am on the eve of a full moon –Walking out doors to see the big luminescent moon high over the ocean along with a multitude of brilliant sparkling stars.  And as the phoenix rises out of the ashes, after watching and feeling the powerful energy of the full moon energizes your whole being – one can now become conscious of the sounds of the ocean.  The waves gently rolling on the shore, and as one watches the waves wash back out to sea, one can observe the ripple effect.

At this point every wave carries the sounds of complete harmony and peace.  As the tide recedes out it also carries your mind and heart to an unknown place and an unknown time.  A place of peace – at least for a few minutes the worries that plague your mind and heart is forgotten.

Looking over the ocean one can observe the light fluffy clouds each being a different shape and size.  Each one making a way for the sun to slowly make its appearance, one can hear the sounds of the ocean welcoming in a new dawn.  All you can feel is the beat of your own heart.

As far as your soul and spirit is concerned, for now, this is pure peace.

And the phoenix raises out of the ashes to face a new day, so does the morning sun, showing its brilliance through the puffy white and grey clouds.  It is in this instance the sun shines through most brilliantly welcoming us as humans to another day to conquer.  But with this new day we have new energy, new life and new hope.

This is the closest that this writer can come to describe being at pure and unadulterated peace, for at least a few moments.
